Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 2D and 3D designs, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and supporting manufacturing and project execution through innovative and practical design solutions.
The role requires strong expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, engineering drafting, and BOM preparation, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and fabrication/manufacturing drawings
- Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and design documentation
- Ensure all drawings meet required dimensions, tolerances, specifications, and industry standards
- Coordinate with production, project, and procurement teams for smooth design implementation
- Modify and optimize existing designs based on project requirements and operational feedback
- Support manufacturing teams by providing technical clarifications and design solutions
- Maintain proper documentation, revision control, and records of design files
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to process and product improvements

Qualification:
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline

- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Good understanding of engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and technical specifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment
